Dan "Spanky" Spangler is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran turned serial entrepreneur who has built a career on resilience, grit, and a deep passion for dogs and leadership. After being medically retired from the Marines, Dan faced the challenge of redefining his purpose—ultimately channeling that drive into the pet care industry.

He founded A Dog's Dream, a full-service dog boarding and daycare facility, where he spent over a decade mastering operations, customer experience, and team leadership. His journey wasn't just about business—it was personal. Inspired by his own life-saving service dog, Spanky, Dan launched the Dreamer's Foundation and its flagship initiative, Operation Keep Your Spanky, dedicated to helping individuals afford and care for their service dogs.

Building on that momentum, Dan created Top Dog Associates, a consulting and leadership development company focused on helping entrepreneurs and pet care professionals scale smarter, lead better, and avoid costly mistakes.

Today, he is the inventor of Rinse-A-Poo, a patent-pending, self-cleaning pooper scooper designed to solve one of the most overlooked operational problems in pet care—waste management. With plans to scale nationally, Dan continues to combine innovation, real-world experience, and unapologetic practicality to build solutions that make life easier for both dogs and the people who care for them.
